I'm in a Farce-less Place

No pun intended. I'm just stating a matter of fact.

Back in the days of Topia Philippines, the expression Everything is a farce was born. It was quite easy to nod in agreement as people were expected to do something out of nothing through lulls at work. A lot of times I had been unreceptive, but I had no choice but to join all the hullabaloo. With all due respect to everyone, all the farce had fun, bittersweet moments in it too.

Suffice it to say that I have moved on. I am now in a place where farce is an alien. Farce does not live here. If one has no more work to do, there is no need to feel guilty. Until when? I cannot tell. For now, I have to unlearn being farcical. This post shows just that.

It's summer time once again! School is over, Holy Week is a few days away, and everyone is starting to make plans for their vacation. Head for the beach or a nearby resort? Another year over (almost)

Thirty-three days to go, and another year goes down the drain. No thanks to my poor memory, I can only relate what this year was like from the third quarter up until the current one. I must say, 2011 has been both nasty and nice. I was a constant victim of stress, so much so my body and mind became its breeding ground. I slept, woke up, and worked my butt off feeling stressed. I developed acid reflux, felt deprived from lack of sleep (I remember getting FOUR hours of sleep in a span of two days!), and accumulated a great deal of emotional baggage. So, is there a nice part to this after all? Honestly, not much at first glance. But, I realized, this year taught me a lot of things. Because half of my time was stress-filled, I got to appreciate more the other half that I had, until I learned to take life as it is, no matter how tough it is.
