A Couples Weekend

Two weekends ago, I got to spend time on a travel with some couples, all of whom are close to my heart.

It was my first time to go to Quezon, south of PH. We stayed overnight at Villa Escudero, a resort famous for its "lunch by the waterfalls" attraction (I have some pictures of this later in this blog.). The atmosphere is so Filipino, from the carabao caravans to the nipa hut cottages named after popular Philippine flowers (gumamela, cadena de amor, etc.).

I cannot find any other words to describe my Villa Escudero trip other than it was a such a laid-back experience. We did nothing but eat, drink, and be merry, such easy ways to forget about work and personal concerns at least for some time. So without further ado, let me take you there with these photos in my collection.

Before heading back to Manila, we went further on to have lunch in a resto (the name of which escapes me at this time) and then to the town of Lucban to see the Kamay ni Hesus shrine. This site is awesome!! A bit of misfortune came to greet us as it was drizzling when we got there. Nevertheless, it sort of added a dramatic feeling as we ascended the steps going to the shrine. The entire time we were there, I felt so blessed to be in a wonderful place with equally wonderful people . . .

This is the resto :)

Thank you, Jesus . . .
